In only their second league match of the season the U9s did themselves proud, only losing by 9 runs. Highlights were Albert Ballard with the bat, scoring a very good 11 not out and Ryan Stevenson 7 not out. Ryan also picked up 2 wickets, the other wickets falling to Jack Hendrie and Libby Worby in her first match. Promising signs for the youngsters.

Special thanks to Ashley Harris for running the match in my absence and to all the parents for helping to get the pitch ready and providing the players with refreshments. Well done to all.
