Garboldisham 1st team had a terrific start to their season with a crushing win over Beccles at The Langley. The visitors batted first but were all out for just 121 runs with Rob Fuller taking five of the wickets for Garboldisham. In reply GCC captain Danny Cash was 53 not out with Kristian Williman 54 not out to give the 1sts a 10 wicket win!

Before the game started, both teams and the umpires lined up and held a two minute silence in memory of Ian (Yogi) Melvin.

GCC 2nds lost despite clocking up 253 – 6 in 46 overs. Opening stand 64 between Dan Moon 48 and Sam Baker 34. Solid Middle order batting for Jack Stevenson 72 , Paul Baker 36 and Robbie Goodwin 26*. Norwich 257 – 6 in 43 overs in reply. Sean Taylor 2-44, Tommy Fidler 2 – 27.
